First Day at a New Boarding School

Destiny was on her way to a school in Savannah,Georgia called sword and cross a week before her birthday. a couple of hours passed on the road with her mom crying, "I'm going to miss you sweetie, so much." Destiny looked at her mother in the passenger seat, "I'm going to miss you too mom." She starts tearing up, "Don't do anything stupid while I'm at boarding school!" Destiny's mom laughed, "Honey, you should be the one to not do anything stupid!" Destiny giggles. "That's true, okay fine I will try not to do anything stupid." Her mom looked at her and said, "You will call us every day okay? and Destiny, try to make some new friends." Her dad looked at Destiny in the review mirror. "And be yourself sweetie." Destiny smiles, "Okay dad I will."

A couple hours later and they were in front of Sword & Cross, Destiny Looked out her Window to find a beautiful castle that looked like it was a hundred years old. As they got parked, Destiny got out of the car with her mother who went to go hug her around the neck. Her Father got out of the car and got Destiny's bags from the car. "Here's your bags sweetie we're going to miss you," said her dad. "I'm going to miss you too dad," Destiny said with tears in her eyes. "AWW sweetie, it's okay we're going to see each other again soon before you know it, it will be summer break and you can call us everyday okay?" Her mother went up to her and hugged her. "Okay mom, I'll try." and then her dad came up to her and hugged her and her mom. "Here is a little something for your Birthday open it on your birthday okay?" Destiny grabbed a small rectangular box from her mom, "okay I will mom." She hugged her mom again and pulled away and said bye to her parents and started walking up the stairs. She opened the doors to find herself in a big entrance way with more stairs. Really more stairs? She thought to herself grabbing her suitcases. And no help great! She started walking up those stairs. When she finally made it she saw a military woman at a table with boxes and a detector she walked up to her. "Excuse me? I was wondering who I will go to to get my schedule and my dorm number?" Destiny asked. "Me, you put your phone in this box and anything you can use as a weapon." She said. "Umm okay but how would I need to contact my parents?" Destiny asked. "You can have a phone call once a week for 10 minutes." Said the women. "Umm okay." Destiny said putting her phone in the box.
