Dragon Rider

Dragon Rider

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

Vorsicht mit dem Drachen.

"
Lo! The mighty beast,
With iron for teeth,
And sickles for claws,
His scales are steel mail,
And his breath hot as the sun,
His crown is storm,
And his shawl,
The clouds.
But beware! The rider,
The brave one,
Last of a noble breed,
Connected with his steed by the Soul,
That binds them both,
Wielding magic and a sword,
Of thunder,
Watch how he rises!
Both beast and rider!
Woe upon you,
Those who oppose him!
