I say adieu to last years scorn,

the hate, the loss of love-lust torn,

so turn I and look for life,

a new dawn free of last years strife,

to start anew, rise from the ash,

and start this new day at dawns break 

a new days start

an old years end ,old debts lots, torn pages mend
