A computer monitor is the least of my worries

I don’t think you realize

How distracting you are

 

Sitting next to me

Only an arms length away

 

The slightest uncoordinated movement

Causing elbows to connect

 

I can almost feel the space between us

As I try harder to focus

 

The thought of filling in the gaps

Lingers in the back of my mind

 

One of these days

You will send me over the edge.......
