Yeah, the book bit is rather rushed, I must admit. Thats largely because I put it in at the last minute. My original idea was to end it with her making a pact with the black mist to save her life in exchange for her soul, but I felt that was too simple maybe? That and a friend of mine pointed out that despite the name of the story there were no grimoires involved (lol).
As for Chapter 4, were you referring to the bit where Kevin stabs Lucy or where Lucy kills Kevin or the whole sequence in its entirety? I must apologise as I am not very good at writing action scenes. If possible, do tell me what can be improved!
As for the overall pace of the story, do tell me if you think its rushed, that is to say if its a bad thing. This is my first time at writing a multi-chaptered story, so I might have rushed it a little, since I'm more used to one-shots, if you've seen my other stories.
Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to read Grimoire! I hope you had as much fun as I had writing it. I appreciate all forms of feedback, so be sure to check out my other stuff!

My comment about the fight scene is previous people noticed something off about it as well. I am not sure what is off with it. They seemed to state how in pain he was should have been expressed. I am not sure I think that's it. I think it does show shock value and the stupid thoughts that pass in your head during that type of situation. But there is something detached about it. I have never written a fight scene either, so I am not sure what. Leave the story alone for a week or so and come back to it. You might see it then, your to close now. As to is it to fast paced? I like fast moving, so not for me. I like how fast paced it was.
