Cotton Candy

We've climbed high into the sky
Growing ever closer to the stars
We come alive in merry chaos
And start becoming who we are

It's like we've never felt pain
Do you wonder where the world went?
Here we are, both children again
Alone under the stars

We keep climbing to the highest point
Laughing through a mouth of cotton candy
Singing up to our sibling stars
It's just us up here, more young and free

The only thing that matters now
Is just us kids, just you and me
Just us being happier together
Us and our cotton candy
