Night

Posted this on my blog accidentally This is a poem I wrote at like 3 am Enjoy

I lay in bed and let the darkness cloak me
I lay in bed while the shadows dance around me
I lay in bed and think of hopes and dreams
Of love and loss
Of life and death
Of how I fear death
And how I don't want to lose anyone
I lay in bed and observe my room
I see the lights from outside coming through the shutters
I see the fuzzy blackness of the darkness moving
I lay in bed and close my eyes
I lay in bed and kiss the night goodbye
