Prom is the day where I will be a queen
I will be a goddess of beauty and I will be a gorgeous young woman
But only for one night
One night that I will get my chance to shine

kind of depressing, but maybe that's the point. I expect many young women feel something similar in high school. Less than beautiful save for that one night they get to shine. For the right audience, young women, it would probably stir a very strong connection. maybe that's what you were going for. maybe it's not. Either way, you covered a lot of ground in 7 short lines which is impressive in itself. good job :)
