While opening our hard hearts

It closes our eyes

That's a pretty powerful line. Your poem reminds me of the quote: "Where words fail, music speaks."
It's not bad at all, maybe you should graduate from haiku writing and try your hand at actual poetry? I'd really enjoy reading that.
