After the StormA Poem by Sam MarkayI spent some time thinking as the last dregs of sombre weather wedged their way past.
a drizzle, juxtaposed
shadows on the lightning yesterday and years ago were never so calm thin light, bleak striking awe while others may traipse aimlessly my thoughts are seamless each drip of light, fresh water making contact with the ever clear pools smiles sit in traps of liquid so transparent hope lays atop trees distant whistling may break you from a dream but it is all part of the scene for me © 2011 Sam Markay |
