In the desert

In the desert

A Poem by Azakhiwe Dilinga

Can you hear
the language of the sand?

Soft silence spreads
night and day.

Here.

In this dry land
hungry souls are filled;
empty hearts are filled.

Purpose touches.
the pilgrim's heart
with Sacred Word.
that sowed Eden.

It reads like something ancient, yet intimate.
Beautifully done.
