ikarus kisses

ikarus kisses

A Poem by Azakhiwe Dilinga
"

You melt my wings, beauteous sun.

"
Forehead kisses are unavoidable with you. Felt as if I've kissed the sun, how you glow. Merged with your pleasant perfume. This poetic flow, is moved by this secret dialect and long silence that never tortured us.

Our kisses reflected on the moon. Burning light on its left cheek. Giggling at me with love. Giggling at me with wholeness. Cure the poverty of my heart. Giggling at me with a smile, not starved happiness.

Let us sail this golden sea. Explore the unseen, the untouched, the undiscovered laughters. The compass points to this lost ocean. Funny how we found each other here.

About
Poetry is a device to translate my essence. Sometimes, I can’t articulate what I feel. But poetry finds the voice I don’t always have. Writing searches parts of me I didn't even kno.. more..
