A Poem by Kaelee Wyant
"

This is actually a song I wrote a week ago but there's no place to write song so I guess it's now a poem...

"

Staring at my phone

At a memory

Looking at what we had

What we used to be

I can't bring myself

To take them off my wall

No I can't let myself

Delete them all

They're all I have left

They let me feel

And they remind me

That we were real

We were in love

Yes we were

And you can find that

In our picture

Now I'm scrolling through them

Looking at your face

Even though it hurts

I can't hit erase

Now I'm praying

And hoping for

You to come back to me

So we'll have more

They're all I have left

They let me feel

And they remind me

That we were real

We were in love

Yes we were

And you can find that

In our picture

And when we took one

A memory was made

Our feelings might leave

But the image won't fade

And times like this

When I'm all alone

I'll look at the pictures

On my phone

They're all I have left

They let me feel

And they remind me

That we were real

We were in love

Yes we were

And you can find that

In our picture

Technology is a huge part of this century and there aren't enough songs using it. I think this ones pretty good because everyone had been there where they just can't let someone go no matter how bad it hurts them.
