How many lives are affected

When I plant my foot down

In the midst of skeptics

Who question my intentions

Not understanding my vision

As man

That’s making the world a better place

I know my mission

While facing the hypocritical climate of a disillusioned nation

I don’t need recognition

I only need a sense of self appreciation

To follow through with my actions

For making the sunrises of others

More fulfilling as their sunsets

Are revealing all the hard work

I’ve put into towards

Relinquishing their stagnant progress

To achieve their hearts desires

Heard through my intuition

Because I’ve become the illustration

Of a true universal provider

In other words I’ve solidified myself as

The real man of the hour

I do like this writing. It reads to me of the struggle to be understood by fellow man. A great many struggles are based in misunderstandings and judgments that are made without really listening to a person. It makes life difficult at times - well articulated here. I particularly like these lines...
