Winning Against Resistance

I’ve witnessed my strength

Gain an advantage

Over the enemy

I’ve had my sights on for many days and nights

I’m a self made general declaring victory

As my rivals have tried to seize

My coveted territory

I fore boast a cry

For not descending below

My standards as I rely

On defending my honor

Shielded by my armor

As the essence of the battlefield remains

Tense

My adversaries are now closing in

Bracing for an inevitable confrontation

Is the reason why

I’m seeing red

Like a raged bull ready to charge in

Yet my blood will not be shed

Within the coliseum

As I’m colliding with the opposition

I will win before their proposed destruction

Crosses my boundary line

Because my landmines have been set

Outside my territorial fortress

Due to learning from the disappointments and failures

That gave me new insight

As to why

The cadences for my transformation

Had to take place

In order to be in a position for

Winning Against Resistance
