At first blush, I was a little put off by the format of this one...the choppy, short little lines had me running for the hills, but then I gave it a second read and really tried to "feel" the piece, and it was then that i realized the short lines added to the "frenzy" that set my emotions afire. I love the last four lines. Nicely written.

Hmm - well aren't we full of doom and gloom for humanity?
Personally and in general, I try not to focus on others' sins if I know of them (or even suspect). It isn't for me to judge how another chooses to live his/her life. I value honesty. We are ALL sinners, that is a plain fact that I keep mind of when interacting with others. There is no room for ego - we are all the same. a sin is a sin.
The writing is provocative, certainly. Not my cup of tea as i don't see humanity so negatively, but an interesting and well written read.

I really do enjoy the slow build you are employing in your pieces always to a strong and satisfying finish.

This has religious undertones to it. Now me, I am not going one way or the other. I'll just keep hopping from one life to the next until I finally get it right. :)
