Eliminating compassion

Remains the current movement

Leaving no mutual agreement

In place for sympathy towards

The next fellow man or woman

As the environment for an estranged conversation

Towards sociable acceptance

Remains remotely too hostile

For anyone who desires

wow this is deep, i love it and it has such strong ways of saying i think that the world is a bad place and how the people make it that way. this is very beautiful. i love how this line tells so much of the failed need of people and our failure to give it.

I like the theme that of indifference of modern-day people for the very next person and our yearning for love and care irrespective of our differences which i think is aptly and strongly conveyed through the poem.

Oh the discontent, frustration, and distaste in this piece draws me in. Its almost as if I can feel your sympathy for such simple and uneducated minds. Bigotry is the first thing that popped into my head. The world we live in, so progressive, yet still stuck on ancient philosophies. I hope you find your nest of conditional acceptance. I know we are all looking for it too.

I think true happiness comes when one is allowed to be themselves in all things. Unfortunately, mob mentality rules. It's a powerful persuader to hide your differences and play along.. Being burned at the stake is never a treat.

If you've not found someone who truly loves you for who you are (parents and family not withstanding).. That accepts every inward and outward flaw.. That wants you to be you above all things.. Then I truly wish that for you, my friend. It is an experience like no other.

Nicely written...I like your ideas and thoughts; they are raw, gritty and sublime at the same time. A couple little suggestions...second line "Remains a restful haven"? Also "Hiding the extend (of) their involvement in" (of instead of "for")? Just a few little thoughts, but overall, I enjoyed the read, my friend!
