Our unified vision -

Here is my written line

Added as a contribution

In order to redefine

Our blank canvas -

I am awaiting your written brush strokes

In order to complete

What has already ingeniously commenced

 

As I sit, holding this paint-less brush

in a room filled with shadow

my situational serenade longs for color

hues of black and white

beautiful in their simplicity "

I anticipate your lines and verses,

as a winter tree waits quietly

for the coming of spring

 

Falling from this poetic tree

Are those spring leaves

Florescent and chromatic

Resonating a harmonious and joyful

Penned collaboration unveiling

“A Written Picture of Our Desired Portrait”

 

Together creation is inevitable

a dawning of intricate devices

that breathe life into dusty delusions

where life is ripe with intense scarlet,

ochre and sapphire skies

painted with two hands and yet

coming together as one

 

How fortunate is it

To discover an opportunity

For embracing an artful

Poetic alliance

While anticipating written brush-strokes

Giving new life and meaning

To our penned overture in the making

Funny, before reading the author's notes I could tell which verses belong to who. Although your writing styles are very similar. Perhaps, that why the two of you collaborated on this beautiful piece. this was very interesting for me to read and i'll tell you why: i am a dancer as well as a poet and i often find myself crafting movement that goes well with words i've written or words of others that i admire, and the two fall easily hand in hand for my mind. although this poem wasn't about that exactly, i thought it beautifully captured that same vibe. thanks for sharing this i think it's some lovely work and a very interesting approach!
