Hostility's Volcano

Hostility's Volcano

A Poem by B-poet

Erupting hot lava

From unsettled scores of revenge

At wits end

Is the molten rock

From the bottom up

Corrupt enough to surface

Amongst friends and enemies alike

Who are never at ease

After lava has sizzled

Everyone involved in defying

The intensity of Hostility's Volcano

Separating the body

From every watching eye imaginable

This one sizzles with unstated currents of something beyond hostility. I like the metaphor comparing the boiling point of anger or rage to a volcano. How it affects everyone around us.
