Pen to paper

Paper to pen

Referring back to a true origin

In the making

Typed text on a computer screen

For all admirers viewing

From every walk of life

These fundamental penning principles

Are in-scripted on

A poet's penmanship keys

Are destined to unlock the

Proverbial Written Gateway

Of handwritten or typewritten reads

As the sun rises

In the east & sets in the west

Each and everyday

This habitual occurrence

Reinforces the essence

Of an immense social change

In the status quo

Relating to all

Who desire the chance to do so

As long as the gateway

Stay's and remains open for eternity

After every daily sunset in the making

i think our choice of media (pen, pencil, marker- moleskin, laptop, comp notebook etc) say a lot about who we are as a person and as a writer! we're all so different and unique but in the end we all share this experience with each other here on writers cafe and that makes me so happy, love this poem!

i pen everything on paper with ink, in a series of journals, before any of it gets posted here, or anywhere else. gateway....my journals are my gateway, but i love what you have done with this piece. it is both poignant and articulate in scope, and wonderfully penned. nice job!

I enjoyed...I always write on my laptop...but a poem written in someones handwriting adds to its beauty if the handwriting is quite beautiful...I know someone whose handwriting is like calligraphy which mine isn't so I prefer the laptop...It is great when ideas and thoughts flow like a river...Enjoyed reading BPoet:)
