Deceptive Daily Monotony

Deceptive Daily Monotony

A Poem by B-poet

Having the feeling

You've been there & done that before

The allure

Is so strong

Perception condones

Deception's blowing winds

Across the landscapes of reality's

Deja Vu Valley

Bringing to life

What could be happening

Inside the minds of all people

Who've conceived

Deceptive Monotony

As a valuable commodity

Within a culturally beguiled society

Of repetitive & ill-advised virtues

Set to be the norm for all

Who have no clue

As to what truly pertains

Too their short term future as a whole

nicely done, Bpoet...i think i live in "deja vu valley" ...says a lot about the status quo and the realisms of perception. well penned.
