Desolate Paradise

Desolate Paradise

A Poem by B-poet

Washed up along the shorelines

Of a Desolate Paradise

Are all the lost lives

Whose dreams & wishes died

Dating back to a unprivileged life

Where all the inhabitants

Lived to thrive

On an island of personal sacrifice

Fighting a losing battle

Yet their souls where spared

Only to inherit a forsaken kingdom

Now beyond repair

For the ages to come
