There's A True Purpose For Pain & Disappointments

There's A True Purpose For Pain & Disappointments

A Poem by B-poet

Sometimes in life

We're thrown off our train tracks

Beyond disbelief

We never understand

The true value of suffering

A painful defeat

By all means

Our dreams are shattered

For the time being

Yet never believe

You'll never have a chance of experiencing

Your very own

Immaculate aspiration

Prior to you seeing its

Materialization in plain view

After witnessing your divine destiny

It will never be in disguise

As long as it's

The right personality shoe

Which fits you divinely

Since you've revered over

Your own personal anointment

There's A True Purpose For Pain & Disappointments

This is such a true poem, BP - there is definitely a true purpose for pain and disappointments but that's what makes us wise and smart, it makes us who we are.

Yes, there really and truly is. Beautifully written.

We do indeed need to experience pain and disappointment in Life; they make us wise, and allow us to appreciate the good things. Well done.

That's one really good poem. Very well thought and even well structured. We get pain and disappointments only so that the trouble leaves us and we find someone better.

Yes, of course...there's a true purpose for pain and disappointments. When something GOOD was taken from you, remember that God was preparing not only the BETTER, but the BEST for you.

Nice piece!

I think the message is very true. We seem to learn the most from our pain if we avoid bitterness and ask what is is we need to learn. But the pain is still very real. And then later we see why it was that horrible thing happened. Thank you for so eloquently expressing this.

I like the message in this one, or the "moral" as it were. We can not truly appreciate the sweet until we have tasted the bitter. Many great images...I particularly liked the idea of the train being thrown from its tracks. This one has me thinking...

It's hard to ever appreciate the good without having the bad to compare it to. Positive outlook here, nice write.
