If tomorrow is not promised

Then it will forever remain a mystery

Until daybreak resurfaces momentarily

that ticking clock is constantly haunting the human mind's conscious and subconscious. you've captured that so well here! who even came up with these circular clock things with ticking hands? what even is time? who said that a minute is sixty seconds? great, thought provoking work!

They say that the present is a gift from the past and a preface to the future. It is very difficult to be completey in the moment, even though it seems as though it would be easy. Most of us spend our days either reflecting back on what we have done or thinking about what we are about to do, in ten minutes, an hour, maybe a day or two. We rarely sit with ourselves and simply take in the beauty of each ticking minute. 6:36 p.m. could be the most important time of the day if you allow it to be, and so could 6:37, 6:38, etc. This was a thought provoking write, my friend.
