A Taste Of Legitimate Happiness

A Taste Of Legitimate Happiness

A Poem by B-poet

A dream recruited

One person

As its soul purpose

To measure

How much effort

Would it take

To demonstrate

The ease of becoming

Well endowed

It started within the heart

Of a Second person

Standing in the same concession line

As the first

They both thirsted

For a fulling beverage

Since the average taste

Had taken away

A less fulfilling page

Out of their individually combined lives

As time went by

Each had realized

After they paid & took a sip of optimism

They immediately felt exuberance

In a sense

By being receptive & ready enough

To experience their liquidated desires

Were now

Newly quenched towards gaining

A Taste Of Legitimate Happiness

I like the analogy of a beverage. A taste of legitimate happiness would be nice.

This is great, when you get to share something with a friend or a loved one it makes it extra special. Awesome write, BP.
