Lost But Not Forgotten

It was a precious

Royal family heirloom

Like a favored

Christmas ornament

Worn for generations

A rare gem necklace

Locked away in safe place

Yet it vanished without

A trace

Suspicions arose

After a royal family reunion

Where idle hands

Of befriended strangers

Devised a plan

To put cash in their hands

Acting as would be thieves

Who got away

With thinking & believing

What was once inheritable & forsaken

Is now

Lost But Not Forgotten

Within the mind of a princess

Who was soon to become

The Queen Of A Royal Palace

Within a land

Inhabited by zealous peasants
