Give Praise To Our Elders

They were here

Before you were

Paving the way

For your ancestry to date

We should honor

The trail they had to blaze

In order to

Make personal sacrifices

So we could have

The lives were living how

Being fortunate enough

To be well endowed

Now our generational bloodlines

For these present times

Should uphold a legacy

To keep our intermediate families

Closer together

We should always

Give Praise To Our Elders

So they can feel appreciated

For being the originators

Of our individualized family cultures

To date
