They're peaceful symbols

Delicate

Like ivory rose petals

Existing only to preserve

Life's defining true endeavor

Happiness & Humility

Held in each hand

Meant to be extended

As a loving gesture

For all eyes to see

Feathered Divinity

Remains to be

A stepping stone

Fulfilling unwavering peace

Within the souls of troubled hearts & dreams

As they were lifted

To spread their wings

They flew away

Reminding us as human beings

To live graciously

One can only appreciate

Were Two Loving Doves

Together happily ever after

Depicting a harmonious union

Is always possible with God's intervention
