The winds of displacement

Left me adjacent

Along a cliff's

Edge of endearment

As a lot of time

Was spent

Looking down at an horizon

Where separative karma bondage

Existed within

The peaks & valleys

Of a desired wants terrain

How can it be

Simply explained that

It's Long Overdue

To fulfill

An anticipated personal fantasy

Forever lost

During a cinematic dream

Of unresolved regret

The importance of overcoming one's biological programming. A way a psychologist once explained it to me; we are programmed to want to find the best mate and these mates must be sought after by other in other words not easily got and so there is the need to play hard to get. Frustrating but maybe conquered with a little awareness. Thank you for another great one.

sometimes we can never get that relationship we long for...we just watch from a distance and pine what we cannot have.
it is like watching ourselves in a movie...but we are not the star of the movie...we are the character actor on the side who never gets to romance the co-star...
