A New Found Innocence

A New Found Innocence

A Poem by B-poet

A freed feeling

Came over

Every estranged human being

After the sky

Serenaded them

With purified rain drops of serenity

Washing away

All alarming memories

Of despair & hopelessness

Once a chance

To feel & witness

This special experience came

Their optimism

Opened a reveled window

Of desired dreams

Forever introducing

A refreshed sense

Of spiritual renewal

Stepped on the scene

Befittingly

Everyone now knew

A New Found Innocence

Could be made possible

After making

A lasting & esteemed bond

With unpredictable mother nature

i wish a good rain, almost like the biblical flood could come and wash all the hate and anger away..and let us all start fresh, really loving our brothers and sisters...we need something like this to happen.

right now where i am it is rain, sleet and ice mixed...all that does is remind us of how cold the world is right now.

great poem

Great job. We all look to for that rain to wash us clean, leaving us to our renewed or new found innocence at one time lost, that world took away.

I really like the imagery and sentiment in this poem! The only thing I'd say is that the way you've broken up the lines makes reading the poem a little difficult, by which I mean that the words flow but the line breaks tend to interrupt that flow. It's just a suggestion. Overall, great work! I like your diction!

I am a pluviophile, straight from the heart, and this was one hell of a piece of poetry, BPoet. The title was well-suited, the theme sounds perfectly justified, and the content was amazing. God, I literally love this piece. :D
Oh, and you might need to edit that second stanza. Its probably a typing error 'Too feel & witness'. It ought to be 'To feel and witness'.
Cheers. :D

I really love this one to death, it just brims with life and love and hope. I just love that first image of the rain in the opening stanza...it really set the table for me. Awesome work my friend :)

This reminds me of the day after the rain, when the world is fresh and clean and everything appears a little bit brighter, a litte more new. Beautiful poetry my friend.

A sort of rebirth, starting over anew. The imagery in the first stanza is beautiful, BP!
