Blinded Ignorance (Original)

Blinded Ignorance (Original)

A Poem by B-poet

Who knew

Blinded Ignorance

Held such a lasting virtue

Over all closed minded people

Savoring hypocrisy

As a way of life

In oppose to

Our association with

History's relational plight

Being served too us

On an acceptable platter

Cleverly embodied as

A social human phenomenon

Located forever

On a planet

In dying need

Of spiritual resurgence

Excellent write and one very much needed.

Nothing worse than willful ignorance, people see what they want to see to fulfill their own prophecy. Killer last stanza Bpoet, good read.

That first line should read Who'd ever know, or Who knew....

Very well done. I can take so many different meanings and thoughts from this piece. Indeed, hypocrisy is rampant every where you look. The good are actually bad and the bad complain about the good...or something like that. Extremely deep my friend.

Excellent piece! Yes, we have all been here at some point in our lives. Nothing wrong here I see in you going back to your roots.
