A Warm Heart Fueled By A Cold Soul (Original)

A Poem by B-poet

One's best intentions

Were masked by

A staring revelation

Dwelling within

Weary eyes

Reveled by the sacrifice's

A gravedigger's image

Had chosen to uphold

The ambivalence of

A Warm Heart Fueled By A Cold Soul

We all must facet death eventually. Profound and eerie.

It's edgy and inventive and a little bit creepy too. Takes me places I don't really care to think of, albeit, a creatively brilliant thought.

This put me in mind of Poe's The Tell-tale Heart...it also made me think of euthanasia and the ethical and spiritual debates that stem from it. A gripping and ominous piece :)
