On That Fateful Day

On That Fateful Day

A Poem by B-poet

On That Fateful Day

Sunny skies

Reminded me why

A peaceful oasis

Needs to exist

Within our daily hearts

On That Fateful Day

Feeling the winds

Of humble beginnings

Helped give life

To a sculptured character

Of meekness

Within the minds

Of humanities lost counterparts

And

On That Fateful Day

A savored victory

Of appreciation

Swept over every soul

Who valued earthly healing

Within a future world

Of lost & forgotten sinfulness

Meant to fit

The perfect mold for utopia

As a whole

Sad what's happening to our world, and we wish it to change for the better. It a long long road before that happens. But great to know that there is some kind of hope in most of us if not all in someway. This is an inspiring piece to us all to know all is not lost. Fantastic piece.

The diversity of your poetic voice continues to shine through, especially in your works going back to the latter parts of last year, when you seem to really start branching out in earnest. A great testament to the human spirit you've offered up here...great work B :)
