This transparent veil

Most of us use

As a shield towards

Life's criticism's

By other human beings

Proposition's

Familiar nerve stricken tendencies

Within ourselves

There's a rare selfishness

To protect

The health of our reputation

On the surface

Of our relational composure

It's a wealth

In need of a full disclosure

To no one else

Unless vanity pertains to merit

On the grounds of

Unveiling Thy True Self

very creative...you fashioned a poem about being who we are, not being what others expect us to be...
we don't need to protect a reputation, we need to protect who we really are, our true self...
and there is no vanity associated with that...just realness.

Surprising how many people are being pulled to such of late - there is a shift happening, I believe, that is empowering people to feel their true beauty, the soul, not materialism and so forth, poignant poem x
