i am dealing with something so similar right now...had an old friend, very close....he did this to me years ago...then apologized in order to restore the trust and friendship....and bingo...did it again....and now is trying to act like we are still best friends....third time is not the charm, trust-wise...

It is disheartening, both the back stabbing and then the consequence of not trusting again... we live in a self centered, fokd up world... but the worst is the back stabbing I think... ~~redzone
