Ceasing To Exist (Will It Ever Involve Gravity, Pressure & Time)

Ceasing To Exist (Will It Ever Involve Gravity, Pressure & Time)

A Poem by B-poet

Earthly forces

Propel worldly ways

Setting a pace

For our brain waves

Need to orchestrate

Social commotion pathway's

Turning intangible answers

Into concrete matter

Where our trophy mantels

Shelve desires

From past, present & future

Trials by fire

Extinguished by exalted glances

Of mirage paradise's

Ceasing To Exist

As vague clue's

Catering too

An accomplices'

Revelation crime's

Vanished exposés

Will forever silence

A wondering chime

Basked with questioned gesture's

As vacant sentiments

Within our minds

(Will It Ever Involve Gravity, Pressure & Time)

I like where this poem took me. When you really think about it, and your piece exposes this brilliantly. We are so limited, our brain, still ruled by many of the most primitive urges how do we ever expect to perceive the omniverse that encompasses us? The microverse that lives inside each cell? We are so small here and only death will release our true nature, and if we take with us just a fraction of light to help illuminate the way, then maybe one day we will become a part of it all.

Mind expanding piece, that I will have to return to for another read.
I know there is much more here.

Gravity, pressure and time... Existence relies on these, and so does non-existence... A thoughtful poem, BP.

I did enjoy it. A little esoteric and existential, perhaps, but the sound, flow and vocabulary are lovely. Thanks for sharing!
