Honored Camaraderie

Honored Camaraderie

A Poem by B-poet

What ever happened to those days

When it was fun

To embrace your peers

Without fears of a double cross

Where a genuine innocence

Seemed like forever in a day

As friendly decency

Was always angelic & automatic

Yet our time & celestial presence

Always sends us on different paths

Towards self fulfillment as it

Often remains cataclysmic

To vast intellects

Who've never understood

Self vulnerability

Since they've never been dispelled

From a case of

Honored Camaraderie

I really enjoyed this poem... I especially enjoyed how you said "friendly decency was always angelic & automatic". I, too, feel that humanity has lost touch with decency... It is no longer an automatic sentiment to be kind and heartfelt towards someone. This poem really opens eyes.. thank you for sharing! :)

Very articulately said. Simple, honest, innocent friendship is so rare and probably always has been.
