The Darkened Whirlpool

The Darkened Whirlpool

A Poem by B-poet

Humanities funneled

Social downfall

Had spiraled

Empathetical dreams

Into an unknown realm

Of calmed deceit

Where menial minds

Could only survive off

Curiosity alone

With nothing left of themselves

For their own souls to condone

The cycled ambiguity

Forever drained & postponed

Any acts of positivity

During the daylight hours of

The Darkened Whirlpool

One question: Is the first line of the last stanza supposed to be "the cycle of ambiguity"? Overall a great write. It flows well when read aloud, and as always your vocabulary choice is skillful.

This one is a bit darker than your usual writing, I like it.
