The Coping Willows

The Coping Willows

A Poem by B-poet

Shades of relief reside

Underneath a soothing leaf tree

As the world

Criticizes and Critiques

Individual advocacy

Breezes of adapted reality

Had whisked away

Governed heartbeats

From our souls freewill committee

As serendipity took over

It basked in the shadows

Momentarily as

Daylight called forth

Serenity feathers

Falling from the sky

Then later into a sacred pillowcase

Sets the stage

For dreamy skeptics

Needing to feel & hear

Acceptance from

Comfort's welcomed embrace

Is where solitude

Chose to say hello to

Two weary fellows

Receiving eternal peace

Near a dockside by

The Coping Willows

Very articulate and artistically arranged words. Excellent!

Love the entire poem, but the above verse is my favorite. The imagery is outstanding. Your talent never ceases to amaze me. Always a pleasure to read "you".
