Trusted Vigilance

Trusted Vigilance

A Poem by B-poet

Unwavering personal compliance

Manifests sublime redemption

During prideful weary seasons

We've set aside

To compile

Unworthy extravagance

Moderation's absence

Then came forth

After the earth's

Travesty winds

Tried to shift

Our folded hands of gracefulness

Into ruin

Conscious candles of hope

Remained eternally lit

On behalf of everyone's

Trusted Vigilance

I agree with Julie's review. As always, I like your rich vocabulary and the skill with which you use it.

The imagery is brilliant. The above verse my favorite, as is the last verse. Your poetry always leaves me with much to think about.

Into ruin
