Twenty Year Interval (Reprise)

Twenty Year Interval (Reprise)

A Poem by B-poet

Reliving a keen time period

Had rekindled

A favorable light

Of beseeching truths

Meant to shape

Acquired tastes

Had sponsored

Real & Visual Escaped Ringmaster's

Backed by commercial moral values

Often orchestrated

Trivial outcomes

Needed from

What we need

To experience

As daily living people

Deviates

What'll truly be

At stake

During our future's past time

Many fortunate son's & daughter's

Will eventually move on

To reach greener pastures in life

Regardless of worldly changes

It's revolving plight

Whether day or night

Can never take away

Our childlike nostalgia

Since it forever lies

In our forecast-ed

Twenty Year Interval (Reprise)

As always your style draws the reader into an intricate word picture that bears rereading to experience its flow, and even reading aloud. I learn a lot from your poetry.
