Perils of Vanity

Perils of Vanity

A Poem by B-poet

Rich with ulterior motives

This slice of self-disposition

Consoles all novices alike

Who've ventured along

This gratified pathway of desired superiority

Most of them quickly

Wanted to be

Like an heir

With royalty perks

Who often blinded

His subjects morale excerpts

With adverse & soulless

Bribes of trickery

Backed by

Their royal highnesses

Enmity tyranny

Surprisingly in disguise

As his own

Perils Of Vanity

Vanity is one of the worst parts of human nature and I like your take on it. On my way to read version 2, though...
