Candle-Blowers (Di-Meter Version 2)

Candle-Blowers (Di-Meter Version 2)

A Poem by B-poet

Our living lights

Are the eyes of

A future now

Held high to fly

Should be set free

Like caged dreams seen

Blowing in the

Wind's trivial

Reality

A flaring wick's

Melting candle

Wax for our souls

Must make it past

An on-going

Plethora of

Well-wishers now

Willing to be

Posers waiting

In a welcomed

Covetous line

Of classless masses

Wanting to grasp

Beloved perils

Blown from vagrant

Candle-Blowers

Riveting! You had me from your first stanza... marvelous phrasing and imagery, and splendid metaphor.
