SELF LOVE

ME

Sometimes I don't see

The me others see

I love life and am usually

The party of it all

But at times I do stumble and fall

And suffer with my own insecurities

Please I have come; conquered and over came

I am no longer ashamed

I used to be afraid to speak

Because my voice was tiny and it squeaked

I am the epitome

Of sexy now but I built that image

Even when the world claimed fat was whacked

I pushed through and made it about me

I have always been smart and pretty


But a NERD at the same time

So I found a way to shine through

All of the things the world gave

I saved

And I pushed through

To come to you

As this- wanna be around me

All about me woman

I am constantly coming into my own

I sit atop my own throne

The world I have created

I have been afraid

But never have I hated

I am me
