The sky is blue seems so simple, yet blue to me is sadness, troublesome... and it is reality...so many complexities to look down upon...Humanity is suffering in so many ways....a big divide between rich and poor....our social justice system is in dire need of repair...and I could mention many other wrongs that the must look down upon....reality

I like that. It is brooding, ill-humored, dry, great write!

Thank you Amanda :)
Simple but poignant truth, is conveyed by those few lines. An age old reality, as old as the human race itself; with no obvious or instant remedy on the horizon...

Many thanks, bless you
love this kind of personification,
you've got going on here.

Says so much with so little,
very well done..
It's the kind of thing, that sticks to you,
long after you read it.

:)) happy to hear it
Aye, it has much to be sad about. Just look at the carnage and conflict our species is responsible for. No wonder the sky is blue. Lovely piece of brevity which opens up to much thought. Well done Brad.

True. That would take us
That's probably why it flares red sometimes too, it's angry at what it's seeing. Hopefully some of the things it sees can also make it happy.
