BackboneA Poem by Bhumika DevkotaBackbone Bhumika Devkota
My home, my comfort, my backbone, My messy bed surrounded by clothes scattered on the floor, And the wind chime making music by the door. Cuddled into a blanket by the fireplace, Next to the table where unplayed board games are stored. Talking, laughing, and telling stories, And in the end, just being happy. Grins plastered in our faces as we recollect our days, Laughing at jokes that make no sense. My family, my home, My comfort, my backbone.
