a foresight for tomorrow

you cast in sleek black lines

throwing yourself against all

seeking to dim life with stark contrast, believing

yourself to be dark of

overwhelming depth

encompassing all you touch in blackness

forgetting

that only light can make you

forgetting

that light brings you to life 

and without it you are

shapeless

This reads to me as someone who has blotted there copybook. Someone who has let another down and they are not prepared to offer forgiveness. They are now seen as shadow whereas they once were the light. I see this as a relationship breakdown. That's how I read your lines and how they came across to me.

I particularly liked the phrasing- how lines flow into each other. It definitely gave this a lot of playful character. Definitely a fan of reading more like this.
