Forbidden LoveA Poem by RalphyForbidden love The fruits blossoms in the mist of the day As fragments of love, linger along the way A touch of a finger, a toe, your lips Gives a wonderful release to the unloved grip Your voice, your words, all heard in the sanity of time A beating of a drum, echoing deep into the caverns of our mind The river slowly rises, reaching to that magical crest Floodgates open, as the pressure attempts to relieve the stress The heat of the moment evaporates into vapors, as droplets cry Air rushes by, as the breezes opens the door, kissing you on the fly I’m mesmerized by your touch as it grabs my attention thereof I realize now that to be with you would be a forbidden love
