A Downstream

A Downstream

A Poem by Mr. Porter
"

About heaven

"
Do you feel a breeze?....
Look forth...
Fruits and sweets wait thee...
In a place of glee, peace, and safety......
Where the sun sits oh so boldly with a Stagnant smile beaming....
Seeming almost like a thankless child....
Only thing that can be seen outside when you look up...
Is a starless sky...
Many things there shine like all cars alike...
Can't find maps supplied...
Can't find campsites, but there is...
The ark aside.....
A symbol marked by parlous time...
A water world free of valve and valveless pipes...
Long those days ago before anything could be galvanized or modern westernized....
You now see gold gleam on every town street home...
No games of sport with fouls, free throws...
No such thing as car repo's...
No noun white...
No noun negro...
Or brown people...
Dogs aren't there and neither are seagulls...
Only limitless power of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness poured out in A Downstream flow...
