The evening sun

Just a sweet,little poem...with a hidden message

Its an august eve
the sun is about to go for a rest
its hiding behind those red clouds
Yet its rays echoes in the west...

I hope you don't mind me pointing this out, but "its" is a contraction of "it is". Therefore you use an apostrophe, like so: "it's". This stands for "it is".

Lovely telling of a sunset...I often write of sunsets myself.


Many poets don't use any punctuation at all in their work...poetry doesn't havet to go by those rules...

Ya exactly....poetry gives you freedom of righting without worrying much about the grammar...
